Guelph Marketing Conference 2019

A special thank you to everyone who came and participated in the third annual Guelph Marketing Conference. This years event was a huge success and could not have been possible without the involvement of Guelph Business community. 
This years conference featured two case competitions provided by our title sponsors Pepsi and Microsoft. The cases gave student the opportunity to apply their critical thinking skills and challenged them to think outside the box while solving a real world problem.
 
In addition to the cases, students got to chance to hear from keynote speaker Greg Mason, Vice President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Canada. Greg spoke about how Disney structures their marketing campaigns and the  importance of understanding your audience. 
To finish the day, our tech panel from Intelex, Loblaws and Microsoft gave some incredible insight into how big data is being used to influence decision making and planning. The panel was a great way for students to see hear from industry experts across a variety of industries.
We hope that everyone enjoyed the competition and is looking forward to next year!
